I'm not a huge huge jump up fan but I like to mix up with other styles so I had a listen..
I found The Type Writer sounded too much like Don't Forget To Sleep, and Hands Off sounded too much like I Can't Stop so I could only play two per set.
I would go with The Type Writer and I Can't Stop. After a couple more listens to all four I can say I'd be unlikely to buy it, formats pretty simple which isn't necessarily a problem but I like tracks to have a wider spectrum and I found these a little weightless, on another note I know this sort of sound does go down well with the right crowd at the right time it can be banging, I'll bring them to the club friday but only drop them if the crowd are feeling the jump up (which they usually are) |
